Biography
S.A. Borland is editor and designer of Sibling Rivalry Press and author of Tertulia, a finalist for the Eric Hoffer Chapbook Award. A 2025 Desert Rat Resident, 2019 Open Mouth Poetry Retreat Fellow, and recipient of the Richard Stanley Cooper Literary Award, he has also edited Assaracus, Stonewall 50, and co-edited Joy Exhaustible.
His editorial, layout, and design work with SRP has been recognized by the American Library Association and the Rare Books and Special Collections Division of the Library of Congress.
He also works with songs, photographs, and mixed media.
He is completing Onion, a queer story-in-verse of Southern boyhood and Ruin Heaven, a cycle of songs.
